Land management in Somerset and the South West
Ground maintenance, arboriculture, fencing, vegetation management and earthworks, all from one outfit. Highways, watercourses and winter services too.
One contractor
for the whole site
We are a land management contractor based in Taunton, working across Somerset and out into Devon, Dorset, Wiltshire and Bristol.
Most sites need more than one trade. A blocked ditch floods a verge. An overgrown hedge takes out a sightline. Before long you are chasing three firms for one job.
We do the lot ourselves. Ground maintenance, arboriculture, fencing, clearance and earthworks, plus the verge and watercourse work that tends to come with them. Same crews, same kit, one number to ring.
- One point of contact from the first site visit through to sign off
- Written, itemised quotations with the method and programme set out
- Risk assessments and method statements issued before works begin
What we do
Ground Maintenance
Grass cutting, hedge work, strimming and weed control, on a schedule that suits the site rather than our van.
Arboriculture
Crown work, dismantling and felling, including trees in tight spots. Arisings chipped and gone the same day.
Fencing
Stock, deer, post and rail and close board. Posts driven mechanically so the line stays straight on rough ground.
Vegetation Management
Scrub, bramble and self-set taken back to bare ground. Everything that leaves site goes to a licensed tip.
Earthworks
Digging, levelling, land drains, ditching and access tracks, with tracked plant that will work on soft ground.
Highways & Waterways
Verges, sightlines, culverts and rhynes for councils and drainage boards. Gritting and storm call-outs too.
On site in Somerset
Ditch, rhyne and watercourse work around Taunton. All photographs from our own jobs.
